This gathering brings together members of our community for a fun and intellectually engaging night centered around the themes of community and social capital explored in Robert Putnam’s landmark book, Bowling Alone.

  • Hear from Sergio Paris, Director of Strategic Communication at Vitalyst Health Foundation, as he shares insights from Bowling Alone about the decline of community in modern society.
  • Participate in an engaging discussion about fostering community connections and the relevance of Putnam’s work today.

Bowling Begins

Lace up your bowling shoes and hit the lanes for two hours of friendly competition and fun! Whether you’re a pro bowler or a beginner, this is the perfect opportunity to connect with others while enjoying some strikes, spares, and plenty of gutter balls.

Event Details

Cost

$26 per person, which covers two hours of bowling and shoe rental. Food and beverages will be available for purchase at the venue.

Parking & Transit

CityScape Parking Garage is underneath the venue. Parking can be validated for up to 2 hours.

810 Billiards & Bowling is located directly across from the Jefferson/1st Ave Valley Metro Light Rail station.
