Award-Winning Broadcast Journalist
Steve Goldstein served as an award-winning Host and Reporter for NPR’s Phoenix affiliate KJZZ for 25 years before leaving the station in the fall of 2022. His work featured discussions about a broad variety of topics—including education, the economy, and arts and culture—and his passion for politics and elections led to regular conversations with elected officials from both major parties, including former Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, former Senator Jeff Flake, and current Secretary of State Adrian Fontes. Goldstein has also been a regular on-camera contributor to Arizona Horizon, Arizona PBS’s nightly public affairs program. After leaving public radio, Goldstein served as Executive Director and Communications Director for Save Democracy AZ. He is currently a Senior Fellow with the Center for the Future of Arizona. He is also Host and Producer of the AZ Politicast podcast.
